Ever wonder how your personality can affect the type of career that you’d be good in?
What is your unique personality??
Many years ago, I got very curious about this. I noticed patterns in my own life – things I liked to do, people I liked being around, tasks I liked doing. And…I started to act on this.
I started taking personality assessments. I took many of them. But…one that kept ‘popping back up’ was the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). Click here to learn more about the MBTI.
Personality isn’t an ‘excuse’.
But…it is very helpful in us understanding how we are ‘wired’ naturally.
For example – on the Myers-Briggs, I’m an ENFP. My wife is an ISTJ. It doesn’t take an expert to figure out that we are opposites

She loves details. I love the ‘big picture’. I love having relationships with a lot of different people. She loves having relationships with a few, true friends. I love creating ‘vision’ for a new project. She loves working on the action steps of the project.
